Taking place November 25th from 10 AM to 12 PM at The Run 4 Downtown Park on North Street!
The City of Middletown, In partnership with The Business Improvement District, has created a standing tradition with Middletown’s Annual Tree Lighting Parade and Ceremony the day after Thanksgiving.
Our Parade will start on North Street, head to West Main Street and draws to conclusion at Festival Square for ceremony involving a special appearance from Santa to assist in lighting the tree.
This year’s festivities will take place Friday, November 24th. Live Entertainment will take place at Run 4 Downtown Park on North Street, and Festival Square on West Main Street. Following the festivities, a free showing of It’s a Wonderful Life will take place at the Paramount Theatre of Middletown at 7:45 PM.
***New this year*** The Middletown Recreation & Parks Department will have their Letter's To the North Pole Mailboxes in place at Festival Square & The Paramount Lobby! Be sure to bring your letter to Santa with you and drop it in one of the "Merry Mailboxes" (Don't forget a self-addressed envelope with postage enclosed with your letter to ensure safe delivery back.)
Saturday, October 14th we will hold our City of Middletown Harvest Fesival and Trunk-or-Treat in conjunction with the Middletown BID Farmer's Market from 11am to 1pm in the Erie Way parking lot. Music, children's activities, 'trunk or treat' with city vehicles and partners, face & pumpkin painting will be available free to the public. All activites are while supplies last. The rain date for this event will be Saturday, October 21st.
