Today Rock Fantasy turns 35! Mayor DeStefano and Director of Middletown OECD Maria Bruni presented Rock Fantasy with a Certificate of Recognition! A Downtown Middletown staple, Rock Fantasy sells concert tickets, band tees, vinyl records, and tons more! Congrats to 35 years in business, and many more to come!

Lieutenant Governor of New York Kathy Hochul came by and took a tour of our Downtown & the improvements that have taken place since the announcement of the DRI Award in 2016!

The City of Middletown would like to thank the Run 4 Downtown Organization for their donation of $60,000 for the creation of a pavilion at Erie Way Park! The pavilion will be the new home of the Middletown BID Farmer's Market, and was included in the City’s DRI Strategic Plan. The City would not have been able to move this project forward without the support of the R4DT Organization!

Last night Mayor DeStefano presented a key to the city to Armando Collarelli, who owned and operated Tailoring by Armando on North Street for the past 44 years. Earlier this year, Armando made the tough decision to retire from the business. The Mayor also proclaimed the day of October 20, 2020 as “Armando’s Tailor Shop Day.” Enjoy your retirement Armando, and thank you for being a valued member of our community!
