The Middletown BID would like to welcome Literacy Orange to our Downtown Area!

A Non-profit organization, Literacy Orange is a volunteer based adult literacy provider formed through a merger of Literacy Volunteers of Eastern Orange County and Literacy Volunteers of Western Orange County. They are dedicated to raising the literacy rate in our community through one-to-one or small group adult tutoring. Recently, they have acquired space at 90 North Street, and we could be more proud. Currently in the United States, an estimated 30 Million people over the age of sixteen read no better than the average Elementary School Child. Having this institution in our community is a wonderful asset.
