Grab your knitting, spinning, crocheting, needlepoint or favorite fiber project and join AmericanNeedleWorks.com in the park on Saturday June 13, 2015 (World Wide Knit in Public Day) from 11 am to 5 pm. The event will feature local fiber arts instructors and demonstrators and wonderful goodies as well as a yarn tasting of luxurious Plymouth Yarns. It’s a great venue to share your handiwork and learn from other enthusiasts.
“I am so excited about this opportunity to share AmericanNeedleWorks.com studio and my love of fiber arts with the community.”
Local artisans will be demonstrating knitting, crocheting, needlepoint, rag and rug weaving, rigid heddle weaving and spinning.
There is a Block-a-Month Blanket class and a Beginning Needlepoint class available to take the day of the event. Please call the studio to sign up in advance.
The event will take place in the park across the street from AmericanNeedleWorks.com at 10 North Street, Middletown, NY on June 13, 2015 from 11 am to 5 pm. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held in the studio. Chairs and beverages will be provided. Tasty treats and lunch are available adjacent to the park at Something Sweet Dessert Café and The Sugar Shack. For more information call 845-699-6405.
